Horse riding lessons

Horse riding lessons for beginners

We treat beginner riders individually. We teach them how to handle, saddle and bridle a horse. After that, we get on the horse, we practice correct sitting and leading the horse.

In contrast to some other riding schools, our main concern is that you really learn to handle the horse and control it well, because only then will you feel comfortable in the saddle without fear and the horse under you will be satisfied. Therefore, it is essential that novice riders first get to know the horse by learning to lead, clean, saddle, and bridle the horse. Then we move on to the practical part of riding a horse, which is trained first on the lunge - the rider learns to sit correctly on the horse and control it with aids. After mastering at least partial control of the horse on the lunge with a good seat, we move on to independent horse management at the riding school. After you have at least partially mastered the step of leading the horse and have a stable seat on the lunge in the trot, we will take you out with your horse for your first walk in the countryside, which you will enjoy much more than if you go somewhere to ride a horse in a tourist riding center without any previous of knowledge. Additional hours will adjust to how skilled you are and how quickly you advance your riding skills. At the request of the client, we alternate training at the riding school with rides and training in the field.

Horse riding lessons for advanced riders

For advanced riders, we adapt the lessons to their existing riding skills. We focus on their weaker sides - mostly it is necessary to fix the seat and correct horse management.

After a telephone or email agreement, it is possible to adjust the hour to suit you.

We will first check the riders' riding skills.

At a minimum, an advanced rider should be able to:

Handling a horse, i.e. preparing it for riding - cleaning, mounting and bridle. He should be able to independently control the horse at least in the walk, stop the horse correctly and demonstrate the correct seat at the lunge in the trot.

We adapt his further teaching to his skills. Most often, we correct the horse's seat and the correct lead gradually in all of its gaits.
