We try to ensure that the horses thrive, are healthy and happy. That is why we have introduced a daily regime that would suit them as much as possible and come as close as possible to what is natural to them:
- in the morning, the horses are fed with high-quality hay and fodder
- after breakfast, their boxes are opened and they have free access to the paddocks
- when the weather is hot or inclement, they can hide back in the stables at will
- in addition to daily grazing, they also have access to straw during the day
- before riding, they are locked in stables for some time to rest - herding is a terrible chore
- in the evening (time depending on the season) they usually hide in the stables and wait for the evening feeding. Again, they get hay and fodder and then go to the forage
Core feed is fed according to the load and tolerance of the horses and is composed of oats, barley, corn, KWP granules and linseed.
They have salt licks in the boxes and occasionally get dry bread, carrots and apples.
